PY PARENTS > Upcoming Events For all Empower information, dates and times please click on the Empower link above (this covers ZONE, Connect Groups, Empower and PY Combined Services). PY Parent Info for all Empower Events: • At Empower events you must register your under 18 teen/s and sign them in and out • If you wish to allow someone else to pick your teen up from ZONE please see the Duty Leader before the group starts and make arrangements for this to happen. • Supervision is only provided from 15mins prior to any Empower event unless otherwise specified. • Please pick your Teens up promptly at the specified time.
> About PY Parents Parkway Youth Parents is simply an enabling tool for the parents of those in our Empower programs (12-21yrs). As the whole Parkway Youth Program is a new endeavour, so PY Parents is also in its infancy. For the first half of 2009 our goal is simply to keep parents informed about drop-off and pick-up times for activities, costs for special events and conditions of supervision. We also, encourage all PY Parents to be part of the Parent Prayer network. In future, PY Parents hopes to provide a number of other parenting resources for parents of teens. So check in with us regularly to stay up to date with what is happening at Parkway Youth.

Parent Prayer Combined Prayer
> About PY Parents Prayer Parent Prayer is a network of parents of Empower Youth (12-21yrs) who pray for their Teens and others in pairs and meet bi-monthly to pray together for 1/2hr of joint prayer. Prayers of faith can change situations, move attitudes, protect the vulnerable and bring great joy and love as it restores families. The Parent Prayer network is held together via email contact and sharing words of encouragement and victory coordinated by Christine Bartle – a Mum who's seen prayer work in her own family of vibrant, wonderful boys. Dear Parents, It is pleasure and an honour to undertake this journey of faith with you. I will pray with you and for you. I encourage you to take a step of faith and pray regularly with a friend for your teens. Keep a journal of your journey and share the load. Prayer has made all the difference in my life and the lives of my three sons. Faith works, God is real, so try it!
