> Counselling
> What we offer
We offer private and confidential counselling for married couples, those considering marriage, and for individuals.
> Our Purpose
We believe that marriage is designed by God to form the fundamental building block of the church and society. Great marriages build a great church, so we want to provide a resource that sets new marriages on the right foundations. Where marriages and families are having relationship difficulties, we are available to assist in reconciliation and restoration.
> Upcoming Events
- Counselling by appointment
- Marriage preparation courses for engaged couples or those considering marriage are conducted regularly
> Our People

> Prayer
> What we offer
Our prayer meeting is the most powerful dynamic of our church! Parkway church was planted by Pastor John after a week of prayer and fasting during which time the vision of the church was imparted to his heart and Spirit via Isaiah chapter 60. We believe this chapter to be revelatory of Canberra’s destiny and future!
Prayer is an integral part of everything we do, and we facilitate a culture of prayer through:
- Prayer chain for emergency and urgent needs
- Weekly prophetic prayer meeting
- Women’s Prayer Cells
> Our Purpose
We move in prophetic decree and declaration over the nations and governments of the earth to bring in the “restoration of all things” (Acts 3:19).
We intercede for every department of our local church and pray for urgent individual needs as they arise.
> Upcoming Events
- Thursday night prayer meetings starting at 7.30pm.
- Sunday morning prayer meetings, starting at 9.00am.
- Quarterly weeks of prayer and fasting, including a half-night of prayer (next half night prayer is on the 4th April)
> Our People
Ps John Macknamara is committed to lead the weekly prayer meeting whenever he is at home in Canberra.
Carole Shreeve is the coordinator for the Parkway Prayer Chain.
